Bungle Bungles, Purnululu National Park

Over the last 2 weeks I have had the opportunity to work up in the Kimberly and Top End Region. I was guiding a group of Gap Year students showing and experiencing new areas such as Purnululu National Park. The photo above is one of the many sunsets that we saw while we were traveling the Top End. It was very hot. We spent two mornings assisting rangers clearing paths, removing cane toads, and clearing campsites. The work we did made a difference to the appearance to areas that we cleaned. In the afternoon we explored the walks. On the first day we went to the Cathedral and Picaninny Creek. The next day we explored the Echidna Chasm. There is a lot more to see. I found the best time is in the evening and early mornings. Some places are best seen at midday.
